About Enviro
Enviro is the official research journal of Resilience Maldives, a distinguished platform where knowledge meets action, and ideas are wielded with the precision of strategy. It is here that researchers, policymakers, and visionaries convene to navigate the complex battles of climate change, environmental sustainability, and community resilience. Enviro publishes peer-reviewed, open-access articles, ensuring that knowledge is both a weapon and a shield, equipping communities, guiding leaders, and shaping a resilient future.
Editorial & Scientific Oversight
Enviro Journal: International Journal of Climate Resilience & Governence is currently led by Resilience Maldives’ founding editorial team. In its early phase, the journal is curated and managed with an emphasis on research-informed environmental communication, policy relevance, and community accessibility. The journal is supported through consultation with Resilience Maldives’ Scientific Advisory Council, ensuring that content remains grounded in credible scientific perspectives and aligned with environmental best practices. We are actively developing an expanded editorial and peer-review network to support future issues and strengthen the journal’s long-term academic and technical standards.

The journal was established in loving memory of Miusam Mohamed Saleem (H. Maairaa, K. Male’, Republic of Maldives), 6 November 1982 – 1 August 2022, who served on the Executive Board as Communication Director when Resilience Maldives was founded. Miusam lived to write, research, and create, and his intellect, dedication, and passion laid the foundation for the organisation and inspired the creation of this journal. Though taken from us far too soon, his legacy endures in every page, every study, and every solution that seeks to change the course of our fragile world.
